Pat Bakes Banana Bread With Granola

Banana Bread
I’ve been baking banana bread for a very long while. I love making it around the holidays for family and friends. My favorite banana bread gets better with the addition of one cup of Pat's Granola. 

I usually bake a loaf when I have a few very ripe bananas. This would be considered a quick bread because it doesn’t use yeast and doesn’t need time therefore to rise.

This is the recipe I use with a few modifications.

  • Reduce the sugar to 1/2 cup by using super ripe bananas.
  • Add 1/2 tsp each: cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg ground spices to the flour mixture.
  • Bake in a parchment lined loaf pan so it won't stick

Pat's Granola Banana Bread

Serve this bread warm right out of the oven. Just the aroma of it baking will wake up the sleepyheads in your house. I also like it with a schmear of butter or cream cheese.
