What We Love About Made Cleveland?

When Ash O'Connor, founder of Made Cleveland, contacted me last year to ask if I'd like to be a part of a new business she was starting featuring locally made products, I didn't hesitate. Her idea for a pop-up shop of products made by local artisans seemed right on time. And, I certainly wanted to be a part of this, not only as a vendor, but as a customer.

The shop is located in the Coventry neighborhood of Cleveland in a bright space with floor to ceiling windows which is perfect, especially during cloudy days. Ash has personally curated the collection of artisan made products beautifully on shelves, bins and racks in the shop--each is unique and special and she can share the story of each product and the maker. 

What's so terrific about Made Cleveland is that I've gotten to know many of the local makers who have products in the shop. Before the pandemic, we'd see each other at local events like farmers markets. It's a certain kind of camaraderie that I've truly missed this past year. Ash helped bring us together in one place.
