Cheery cherries

The fruits of summer are the cherry on top! Cherries are a special treat as they are in local farmers markets for a limited time. These beauties are from the Rittman Orchards in Doylestown, Ohio—a lovely family-owned property with seemingly endless views of the surrounding counties. I’ve visited the orchards many times for strawberries, blueberries, cherries and apples. Nothing like fresh picked food. Deeply appreciative of being able to visit where my food comes from and thanking the people who dedicate their life to doing this work year round.
