Deby Lexow has a passion for helping small business owners who make small batch, extraordinary works of art on their kitchens, workshops and small spaces by promoting us in themed LOCLE Boxes. www.loclebox.com
I met Deby earlier this year online and then by phone when we began conversations about her six year old business, LOCLE Box, and her interest in carrying Pat’s Granola. We got to know each other before doing business together. By August, Pat’s was part of the LOCLE Box offering of specially curated gifts. Maintaining good relationships are a big part of how Deby conducts her business.
Deby is excellent in promoting artisans to her customers. “At LOCLE Box, we offer locally-made, artisan products from all over the State of Ohio. We support mid-size companies who carry the all-time favorite items that come to mind when we think of our Home State.”
“Whether they are Ohio Buckeyes, delicious cookies, chocolates, candy, popcorn, fruit bars, Maple Syrup, Pancake mix, SPA products like creams & soaps or beautiful items made by local craftsmen like wooden keychains, cutting boards, bracelets, and Christmas Tree Ornaments; they are expertly crafted and made with care! Every LOCLE Box ordered supports a local, Ohio artisan build their business.”
Debys knowledge and relationship with makers is what sets her business apart. She and I are members of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Cleveland Chapter (she actually introduced me to the organization). Through NAWBO, I have met women business owners in northeast Ohio who collaborate, mentor and support each other.
Throughout this year I have learned that working collaboratively with other businesses has been beneficial to remaining in business. In a year when surviving the pandemic and a tough economic climate is top of mind, especially for small businesses, I’m grateful for Deby and LOCLE Box who go out of their way to support Ohio makers.
Check out LOCLE Box. Great gifts for birthdays, housewarming, client or employee appreciation, holidays, anniversaries and for folks who want to experience special products that are made in Ohio.
